If there is no joy, there is no learning

By priyank

No matter how cliche it may sound. But the fact of the matter is simply this.

If a child is NOT engaging into an activity purely out of choice and for the joy of it.
It is not teaching that child anything.

If you have to pull a child into the classroom. There’s a good chance he is not learning anything.

The child is only copying data and memorizing information which he will forget very soon.

That is not learning. That is pure waste of time.

Classroom model, no matter how you design it, is basically doing this to most children. It might sound a little extreme and purist.

Mind does not schedule interests. And

Not only the child is not learning anything. It is also slowly killing passion, inquisitivity, interest to carry out any other activity.
