Language learning apps are great for language learning. I have been trying some of these apps and i find them a useful tool to learn.
In fact, some studies have shown that people using these apps learn a language in a quarter time as compared to what they would in a university.
The good –
- Easy access, good
the shortcomings –
- wants to remember all details right away, the checks should come later, the intial lessons should go ahead inspite if the person scores less than a certain number
- Should allow moving forward,
without even if learnt or not. - too simple initial lessons,
- little to no Comprehensible input, hence the retaining is not as good as Pimsleur method, where the interaction is interactive where person gets involved in the discussion.
